A family grave with a flat stone with just names, no dates: Johannes Philippus Schaeffer Jr, Johanna Schaeffer and J.J.K. Schaeffer-de Roo. Despite the fact that there are no dates on the stone it was not too hard to identify the people buried here: Johannes Philippus Schaeffer, son of Johannes Philippus Schaeffer and Johanna Dolleman Lambrechts, was born on 6 October 1831 and died on 19 May 1914 in Zeist. He married Johanna Jacoba Klasina de Roo, daughter of Cornelis de Roo and Johanna van Son, on 24 May 1865 in Dordrecht. She died on 6...

Here rests Hendrika van Tussenbroek, composer, born 2 December 1854, died 21 June 1935. Hendrika was a composer and songwriter who wrote mostly children’s songs. She’s not exactly a household name, but a couple of her songs are still popular. You can see her portrait here. No. 990, Cornelia Maria Kellerman, born in Utrecht on 31 August 1773, died in Zeist on 10 July 1872 According to her death certificate, her name was Cornelie Marie Kellermann: Cornelie Marie Kellermann, female, 98, unmarried, daughter of Willem Kellermann and Johanna Gerarda Mauregnault, died in Zeist on 10 July 1872.
