Family grave in 1941
Yesterday I showed you a photo of the Van Kampen family grave that I visited earlier this week. This is the same grave in 1941, shortly after my great-grandfather Hendrik van Kampen was buried here, the first burial in this grave. The photos were taken by my grandfather, who is now buried there too.
Note the grave stones on either side: They are still there today. The stone on our family grave was replaced when my grandfather was buried here.
