Tombstones of Cornelis Kraan and his wife Antonia Blackstone
Tombstones of C. Kraan and A. Kraan-Blackstone. After consulting Genlias, the Dutch database of birth, marriage and death records, I concluded these are the graves of Cornelis Kraan and his wife Antonia Blackstone. They married on 6 May 1868 in Amersfoort.
Cornelis, son of Pieter Kraan and Jacoba Staal, was born on 17 November 1839 in Amersfoort and died on 28 September 1915 in Doorn.
Antonia, daughter of Gerrit Blackstone and Johanna Veenendaal, born in Dordrecht, died 21 November 1903 in Doorn. I could not find her date of birth, but it is listed on the stone: 8 October 1839.
UPDATE: I received a message of a descendant who confirms that Antonia Blackstone was born on 8 October 1839 in Dordrecht.
