Marriage of Rijk Peet and Jannetje Mets, in the marriage book of Hilversum
A page of the marriage book of the Dutch Reformed church in Hilversum, with 1792 marriages. The date in the first column is the date of the marriage banns, in the last column the actual marriage date. On the bottom half is the marriage of Rijk Peet and Jannetje Mets, my 4th great grandparents. Rijk Peet, young man (i.e. unmarried), and Jannetje Mets, widow of Rijk Reijn, both residents [of Hilversum], married 15 July 1792 (with banns on 29 June).
