Erenstein Castle

Erenstein Castle, a 14th century castle in the Dutch town Kerkrade. It was once the home of knights, but now it is a restaurant.

Next to the castle, and part of the castle estate, is an 18th century farm converted to hotel. We spent the night there, and while wife and kid enjoyed a lazy morning I went on an early morning photo hike around the castle estate. Today I share photos from the castle, other photos will follow soon.
