Koster tombstone
An interesting stone, with a book on top with the words Vader (Father) and Moeder (Mother).
On the front: Jasper Koster born 12 November 1860 died 27 October 1909, Neeltje Koster-Liscaljet born 26 November 1856 died 1 April 1922. There is also text on the flat stone in the foreground, but it’s hard to decipher.
In Genlias I found the wedding of Jasper Koster, painter (probably house painter), 32, son of Hendrik Koster and Wijmpje de Groot, and Neeltje Liscaljet, 36, daughter of Willem Liscaljet and Jacoba Hillegonda van der Veer, on 15 March 1893 in Hilversum.
