Lucas tombstones, cemetery of Lage Vuursche
On the cemetery of Lage Vuursche I saw these two headstones, close to each other, with just names, no dates: Henri François Lucas and Jeanette Lucas – Wijtman on one stone, Wilhelmina, Johanna and Gesina Lucas on the other.
The stone on the left probably belongs to Henri François Lucas and his wife J(e)annette Catharina Maria Wijtman. Henri, son of Henri Franciscus Lucas and Gesina Johanna Gesink, was born on 31 December 1866 in Arnhem, and died on 2 March 1932 in Hilversum.
I’m not sure who are in the other grave. Maybe Johanna is Henri’s sister Johanna Gesina Henriëtte Lucas, who died on 21 February 1930 in Hilversum.
