Church Sunday: Oud Leusden

A church tower in the village Oud Leusden, near Amersfoort. The church was demolished in 1827, but the 13th century tower is still there. The tower is traditionally considered to be the oldest in the country (the text on the post card Oudste Toren van Nederland means oldest tower of The Netherlands), though this is not certain.

Note the ancient graveyard on the foreground.
