Cornelis Jacobus Spithoven, son of Jacobus Spithoven and Gerarda Hazendonk, was born on 21 January 1881 in Wijk bij Duurstede, and died on 22 November 1946 in Wijk bij Duurstede. He married Hendrika Verheugen, daughter of Johannes Hendricus Verheugen and Hendrika van Rijn, on 6 July 1916 in Wijk bij Duurstede. She was born on 14 April 1884 in Wijk bij Duurstede, and died 8 November 1974.
